My Top 3 Olive Garden Recipes

Recently I did some research on the Olive Garden restaurant. You just have to understand that I love this restaurant. The all-you-can-eat salad and breadsticks are great, and the food is even better! While learning more about the Olive Garden restaurant, I found many websites that had Olive Garden recipes. I started reviewing all of the delicious Olive Garden recipes, and I found a few recipes that I really like. If you LOVE the Olive Garden, here are my Top 3 Picks for Olive Garden recipes!

OLIVE GARDEN CHICKEN ALFREDO
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
2 tablespoons cream cheese
1 pint heavy cream
1 teaspoon garlic powder
to taste salt
to taste black pepper
2/3 cup grated parmesan cheese (preferably fresh)
1 lb fettuccine , prepared as directed

Directions
1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter.
2. When butter is melted, add cream cheese.
3. When the cream cheese is softened, add heavy cream.
4. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
5. Simmer for 15-20 minutes over low heat, stirring constantly.
6. Remove from heat and stir in parmesan.
7. Serve over hot fettucine noodles.


OLIVE GARDEN ZUPPA TOSCANA
Ingredients
1 lb Italian sausage (I like mild sausage)
2 large russet baking potatoes, sliced in half,and then in 1/4 inch slices
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 can oscar meyer bacon bits
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups kale or swiss chard, chopped
2 cans chicken broth
1 quart water
1 cup heavy whipping cream

Directions
1. Cook sausage in a 300°F oven for approximately 30 minutes.
2. Drain sausages on paper towels and cut into slices.
3. Place onions, potatoes, chicken broth, water, garlic in pot, and cook on medium heat until potatoes are done.
4. Add sausage and bacon.
5. Salt and pepper to taste.
6. Simmer for another 10 minutes.
7. Turn to low heat.
8. Add kale and cream.
9. Heat through and serve.


OLIVE GARDEN BREADSTICKS
Ingredients
1 Loaf unfrozen bread -- thaw
-in bowl at room temp
-Pam
-Garlic powder
-Dry oregano leaf -- rub to
-a powder between fingers

Directions
1. When dough is soft enough to knead, spray your fingers with Pam or oil and knead
just until you can shape into cigar-sized pieces (about 8 to 10).
2. Place these 3" apart on Pam-sprayed cookie sheets. Let rise in warm place until
doubled - about 1-1/2 hours.
3. Then holding Pam about 8" from sticks, lightly spray top of each and then dust with
garlic powder and oregano.
4. Bake at 375~ about 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
5. Cool in pan on rack to serve within a day or two.
